[Abstract] End stage renal disease has many neurological complications, which seriously affect the patient's quality of life and increase the mortality. In recent years, many noninvasive MRI techniques have been used in the study of occult brain damage in patients with ESRD, and proving up the underlying pathophysiological mechanisms. The recent research progresses of advanced MRI techniques in ESRD were reviewed in this article.
