[Abstract] Fatty infiltration is histopathologic characteristics of many muscle diseases, and severity of muscle diseases is closely related to intramuscular fat content. MRI muscle fat measurement technology can not only determine the severity of the patient's condition, but also guide the clinical rational selection of therapeutic drugs and assess the treatment effect accurately. MRI fat measurement technique and its application in muscle diseases in recent years are reviewed in the present paper.
