[Abstract] Objective: To investigate the mechanism of acupuncture at the Fenglong acupoint by used Bold-fMRI.Materials and Methods: Sixteen healthy subjects who met the standard were treated with acupuncture at Fenglong point and sham acupoint of the right foot Yang Mingwei meridians respectively, and the fMRI data were collected. DPARSF, statistical parameter diagram (SPM12) and XJVIEW software were used for data preprocessing and statistical analysis. Results: Compared with acupuncture at sham acupoint, the Fenglong acupoint enhanced brain activation area included: right lower frontal gyrus (BA45), superior lobular lobe (BA7), and left inferior parietal lobe (BA40). Weakened brainactivation area included: right margin leaves, thalamus, anterior cingulate gyrus (BA32), frontal gyrus (BA46), posterior cerebellum, left hippocampus (BA35), insula (BA13), anterior cerebellum. Conclusions: Compared with sham acupoint, acupuncture at Fenglong point is relatively specific, and these brain areas are related to cognition, pain management and other functions.
