[Abstract] Sjögren's syndrome is a systemic autoimmune disease. Salivary gland is one of the main sites involved. The largest pair of salivary glands, the parotid gland, is valuable for the diagnosis of Sjögren's syndrome. Magnetic resonance imaging has high soft tissue resolution and rich technical means, which has its unique advantages in diagnosing Sjögren's syndrome compared with other examinations. This article reviewed the application of parotid gland MRI in the diagnosis of Sjögren's syndrome.
