[Abstract] Cardiac magnetic resonance feature tracking (CMR-FT), a new emerged myocardial strain technique based on conventional MRI cine sequences, takes advantages in easy post-processing, high spatial resolution images and no demand for additional special sequences. Hence, it is widely used in atrial and ventricular myocardial strain measurement, playing a guiding role in the diagnosis and prognosis of variable cardiovascular diseases. This review aimed to summarize the principles and clinical application of CMR-FT and its up-to-date progress.
