[Abstract] Based on the latest research evidence and expert consensus, Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR) published the Position Paper (2020) on clinical indications for cardiovascular magnetic resonance, including congenital heart disease, cardiomyopathy, myocarditis, acquired vascular disease, coronary artery disease, pericardial disease, cardiac masses, and valvular heart disease. Meanwhile, the usefulness of CMR in specific diseases was graded. We aim to interpret this position paper and provide relevant reference for clinical practice.
