[Abstract] Breast disease is common in women, and the dynamic contrast enhanced magnetic resonance imaging plays an important role in clinical diagnosis. In breast MRI examination, rim enhancement as a common enhancement mode, can be seen in a wide range of benign and malignant breast lesions, and is easy to be misdiagnosed clinically. At present, there are few studies on the rim-enhancing lesions on breast MRI. In this paper, the MRI manifestations and pathological features, hemodynamic characteristics and functional imaging of breast rim enhanced lesions were reviewed. Meanwhile, the feasibility of magnetic resonance spectroscopy, diffusion kurtosis imaging and radiomics for diagnostic application were prospected and analyzed in this paper.
