[Abstract] In recent decades, the rapid development of multi-modal functional magnetic resonance imaging has brought great influence in clinical medicine, also provided an important means for psychiatry disorder research. This paper reviewed functional magnetic resonance imaging methods and image post-processing techniques, as well as its application in reflecting functional changes in subclinical disease, real-time locating of brain function area in vivo and exploring the mechanism of treatment. The technical shortcomings and future directions are also clarified.
