Growth of Siemens MR in China: Interview postscript of PAN Huai-yu, President of SSMR

[Abstract] Siemens (Shenzhen) Magnetic Resonance Ltd. (SSMR) is the biggest research and manufacturing center of Siemens MR outside its headquarter in Germany and it is the only base which has the full capacity in researching and munufacturing MRI system and key components in the world. Certainly, SSMR is the one of the largest MR research and manufacturing centers in China. It established and enhanced the growth of the whole chain of MR industry in China. Through an interview with Ph.D. Huaiyu Pan, General Manager of SSMR, the author comprehensively illustrates how Siemens MR rooted itself in China and delivered the outcomes of "Created in China" to the whole world.
