[Abstract] The magnetic resonance spectrum technology is the only method to detect the concentration of metabolites quantificationally in the brain tissue. It can be used to detect the potential pathophysiologic changes of alcohol addicts before irreversible structural change. The aim of this study is to review the application and the research status of magnetic resonance spectroscopy in alcohol addicts.
